WE EXPECT TO PLANT ABOUT 250 TO 300,000 TREES AROUND KORAA RIVER- DIRECTOR OF FORM GHANA

They Bono Regional Director of Form Ghana Hon Isaac has pledged that his outfit is read to support the Ghana Forestry Commission and the Ghana Water Company to plant has many as about 250 to 300,000 trees around the Koraa river in the Bono region.

He said this after the Ghana water company and the Ghana forestry commission paid a visit to the site to know how the planting of the trees can be done. This they say is to prevent the continues draining of water from the river which is the only source of drinking water for the community.

In view of this the Omanhene of the Berekum Traditional Council,  Daasebre Dr.Amankona Diawuo II has announce to the general public to partner with Nananom on the day at the water Works to plant the trees seedlings commencing from 7:00am on 11th June,  2021.

He went on to say that,  the trees will be planting from the Koraa River to Koraaso a town located at the Berekum West.

Hon. Isaac also disclosed that some of the trees that they intend to plant include; Mango, Ofram, Mahogani ect.

The Berekum Traditional council is therefore appealing to benevolent individuals and organizations to provide drinking water and assorted drinks to be given to those who would undertake the planting exercise.
