The Director of the National Commission for Civic Education of Sefwi Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality in the Western North Region Madam Martha Nneka Opara, has urged all Ghanaian citizens to practice unity to sustain the peace of the nation.

Speaking to the media at the NCCE Citizenship Week Celebration at Sefwi Bibiani Presbyterian School under the theme: (We Are One, Ghana First), Madam Martha said “discrimination against tribes, groups, political parties, religious beliefs etc. is affecting the peace and unity of the Country.

According to her “Discrimination among Ghanaian partisan politics is on the surge of creating discernment among Ghanaians which is impacting negatively on the development and peace of the country”

Let’s avoid intolerance and create unity for development of Ghana. She added.
