As Police investigations continue regarding Monday’s assassination and robbery attack, Torgbi Xenodzi Dogbey II, King of the Worgbato Kingdom of Klikor says his life is still under threat.
Narrating his ordeal, Torgbi Xenodzi Dogbey II said interestingly, after the attack on his life on Monday 18th December 2023 which took place at about 3:00 pm, by evening time when he got home, the power in and around his house also went off for several hours whilst there were lights in the whole area.
He had to talk to Ashaiman Police Commander Superintendent Osman Alhassan who quickly spoke to the ECG before the lights or power was restored.
Again, some unidentified persons attempted to break into his home on Thursday the 21st of December 2023, which was his 40th birthday, resulting in some damage to his car, which was parked outside.
According to him, at about 2 am while he was sleeping, he heard noise from outside only to wake and realize that his car had been attacked and the front windscreen broken.
“Three people gave their testimonies about hearing and seeing someone run away around his House at that time 2 am.” He added.
On Monday 18th of December, 2023 at around 3 pm, Torgbi Xenodzi Dogbey II who had parked his car to attend to nature’s call was attacked by unidentified assailants at gunpoint resulting in the loss of three bundles of foreign currency valued at $30,000 and two bundles of GHC 200.00 notes valued at GHC 40,000.
The incident which took place at Ashaiman, near the Community 22 Police Station has since been reported to the Police pending further investigations.

Earlier in May this year Torgbi Xenodzi Dogbey II, King of the Worgbato Kingdom of Klikor, received Death threats from Maud Efia Fremah and her boyfriend Eric Kwame, which matter he reported to the police and still pending at the Ashaiman District Court.
