The Member of Parliament for the Odododiodio Constituency, Hon. Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye has provided support to the Sacred Heart Vocational and Technical School in his constituency.
In a Facebook post on his official page, the Honurable MP said he was delighted to inform his constituents about the gesture.
“Delighted to inform my people that I have through some of my former School mates resolved the perennial water problems of the Sacred Heart Vocational and Technical School at James Town.
We have successfully struck water for a borehole to provide almost 6,000 gallons of water daily to fill two Rambo water tanks being provided to supplement the ones already in the school.
This would end the almost 4 years of fetching water every morning by the students before and during classes.
It would also enhance academic work in the school since they use a lot of water for their practical work.
We are also providing furniture and air conditioning equipment for the fashion and design department and would be erecting two classroom sheds to start the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering departments of the school soon”.
