The honourable member of Parliament for the Odododiodio Constituency, Hon. Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has called on Ghanaian to cherish their mothers and treat them with the love and respect they deserve.
He made the call in his Mother’s Day message, which was posted on his Facebook page.

Mothers, for all the pain, toil and sacrifices you consistently exhibit in the family we say “AYEKOO”.
I know what the L.O.V.E of our mothers could do, I experienced it and I can boldly say it played a pivotal role in who I am today.
To our generation, let’s cherish our mothers and accord them the necessary respect and love they deserve.
On this special day, I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to all the beautiful and hard working women in my constituency and beyond.
May the good Lord keep you and equip you with strength to remain a blessing to us.
