The Chief Justice in delivering the verdict on Thursday morning said plainly that the Petitioner did not do enough to merit the granting any of the reliefs they were seeking for, thus dismissing the petition unanimously.
Shortly after the declaration, the President, who was the 2nd respondent in the suit took to his facebook page; and in very few words, said:
“On Thursday, 4th March 2021, the Supreme Court, in a unanimous ruling, affirmed my victory in the presidential election of 7th December 2020.”
