Ghanaian Actress, Film Producer, and Entrepreneur, Yvonne Nelson has said in an interview that the creative arts industry will benefit immensely from having proper policies and infrastructure to guide its operations and one will be showing 70% local content on our television networks.
According to the actress in an interview with Nana Adwoa Sarkodie of Citi News that conscious efforts to give Ghanaian content prominence on various mediums will bring better appreciation to the craft of individuals as well as position the industry to be invested in.
“We want to see actors coming together to work as one. If I could put that in the creative arts bill it will be good. I just want the government to make sure all these networks are showing 70 % local content I will be happy. I believe we don’t have that on our TV network,” she said.
