A Ghanaian television station has penalized Cabum for using a foul language in his song titled ‘Zakari’ – which featured Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.

The management of TV7 decided to place a ban on the song from being aired on their channel due to some unpleasant remarks Cabum used in the song.

The Boss of TV7, Ezekiel Tetteh told Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM that a line in the song denigrates some women and they cannot tolerate that.

“We started airing the song but we have now pulled it off air. My attention was drawn by others concerning the insult in it.

“He spoke negative about certain women who smell like Koobi (Tilapia),” the TV7 Boss said in the interview which was monitored by Zionfelix.net.

Cabum, who was at the studio rebutted that Koobi is his favourite fish which he uses to prepare soup and ampesi.

According to Cabum, the line in the song which is in question postulates ‘Akoro’ women as the ones who smell badly more than Tilapia (Koobi).
