Acclaimed Afro-dancehall star Stonebwoy and his team departed Ghana on Thursday for Morocco, ahead of the much-anticipated AFCON final Fan Zone performance.

Earlier this month, the multiple award-winning artiste’s scheduled performance at an AFCON Fan Zone event in Tangier did not take place.
At the time, his management clarified that the show was postponed due to technical challenges on the part of the event organisers, despite Stonebwoy and his team completing a full sound check and being fully prepared to perform.
The AFCON tournament is expected to climax this weekend with a series of exciting activities and performances.
However, it remains unclear whether Stonebwoy will perform at any of the events ahead of the final.
Despite his trip to Morocco, no official announcement has been made confirming whether the artiste will take the stage.
Speaking to 3Entertainment’s Owusu Worae , Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng, Public Relations Officer for Burniton Music Group, said Stonebwoy remains fully committed to the AFCON engagement and is eager to reconnect with fans on the continental stage.
