The Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Hon Charity Gardiner , on January 7, 2026, addressed the New Year’s staff meeting of the Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), reaffirming her commitment to accelerated development in the region.
The meeting served as a platform to review the performance of various departments over the past year, while heads of departments openly shared challenges confronting their institutions and outlined their New Year resolutions and strategic priorities for 2026.
In her address, Hon. Charity Gardiner pledged to lead the Ahafo Region in line with the government’s Resetting Agenda, aimed at improving socio-economic development and enhancing the welfare of the people. She assured staff of her determination to deliver on her mandate with professionalism, accountability, and respect for institutional integrity.
The Regional Minister further outlined plans to address the concerns raised during the meeting and emphasized her readiness to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to find lasting solutions that will drive sustainable development across the Ahafo Region.
