The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the release of the 2025 Senior High School placement results under the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS). A circular issued on September 17, 2025, and signed by the Acting Deputy Director-General of the GES (Q&A), Dr. Munawaru Isshaque, directed all regional directors of education to communicate the development to district directors and heads of schools in their jurisdictions. The notice confirmed that all students who have been placed are expected to report to their schools starting October 18, 2025.
The GES stressed that admissions should strictly follow the placement list generated by the CSSPS Secretariat. Schools have been cautioned not to admit students outside the official placement without prior written approval. Heads of schools have been tasked to ensure a smooth registration process, guided by the provided directives. The circular further noted that any violations, including unauthorized admissions, will result in administrative sanctions. Regional and district directors have also been instructed to monitor the admission process closely to ensure transparency and compliance, while offering supervisory support throughout the period. The GES urged cooperation from all stakeholders to guarantee a successful admission process for the 2025 academic year.
