
Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Tuesday, July 8, led a delegation of New Patriotic Party (NPP) officials and Minority Members of Parliament to pay their respects to the family of the late Ernest Kumi, MP for Akwatia.
Clad in solemn black attire, the group visited the late lawmaker’s residence at Spintex, where they were welcomed by bereaved relatives. Members of the delegation offered words of comfort and signed the book of condolence in honour of the departed MP.
Among the delegation were Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako, former Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, and former Tema East MP Daniel Titus-Glover, among others.
