
The Global African Heritage Foundation (GAHF) has launched the book Echoing the Voice of Peace: Quotes of Busumuru Kofi Annan at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre.
This publication honors the late Kofi Annan’s legacy in promoting peace and human rights, compiling his most impactful quotes on topics such as sustainable peace, conflict resolution, and democracy.
Author Peter Panyin Anaman emphasized the importance of preserving Annan’s wisdom for future generations, especially the youth. Guest speaker Kwame Pianim urged Ghanaians to cherish and protect the nation’s peace, highlighting Ghana’s relative stability compared to other regions. The event served as a call to action for global peace and national unity.

Kofi Atta Annan was a Ghanaian diplomat who served as the seventh secretary-general of the United Nations from 1997 to 2006. Annan and the UN were the co-recipients of the 2001 Nobel Peace Prize.
