I stand in full solidarity with Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, Member of Parliament, in light of the unjust and unwarranted behavior exhibited by a member of the Minority in Parliament. Such conduct is unacceptable and sets a dangerous precedent for our democratic discourse. I strongly urge the Minority Leader to take responsibility and issue an unreserved apology to her.

Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings is a Ghanaian medical doctor, politician, activist and campaigner who is the eldest daughter of the 1st President under the 4th Republic of Ghana Jerry Rawlings and former first lady Nana Konadu Agyeman.
Labeling Dr. Zanetor as “the daughter of a murderer” is not only reprehensible but also a blatant attack on her integrity and hard-earned reputation. As leaders and representatives of the people, we must exercise caution and responsibility in our utterances, ensuring that our words reflect the values of respect, decorum, and unity that our society so dearly needs.
Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, MP has proven herself through dedication, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to public service. She has rightfully earned her place in Parliament, not because of her lineage, but because of her merit and the trust her constituents have placed in her. Her contributions to national development are widely recognized and admired, and such baseless attacks must not be allowed to undermine her efforts.
It is imperative that we foster a political culture rooted in mutual respect, where debates and disagreements are handled with dignity rather than personal insults. Let us be guided by the principles of fairness, integrity, and responsibility as we serve the people who have entrusted us with leadership.
