The Greater Accra Women’s Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) proudly declares June 20th as World Dr. Valerie Sawyer’s Day in honor of her unwavering dedication and contributions to the party and the Greater Accra Region.
The Women’s Wing launched a significant house-to-house campaign in the Tema West Constituency, commencing from Ecobank on the Spintex Road, traversing through Tespo Market to Estate Junction. This initiative is part of the celebrations for Dr. Valerie Sawyer, whose commitment to the NDC’s vision and goals has inspired many.
Hon. Felicia Mekpoi Bortey, the Greater Accra Women’s Organiser of the NDC, stated, “We recognized that with a little push, the Tema West seat could be secured. In celebrating Dr. Valerie Sawyer and acknowledging her dedication to seeing the NDC win more parliamentary seats and increasing the vote margin for John Dramani Mahama, we decided to honor her by embarking on this house-to-house campaign.”
