Black Stars Forward Joseph Paintsil signs for LA Galaxy

Black Stars forward Joseph Paintsil has signed a four-year contract with Major League Soccer (MLS) side LA Galaxy from K.R.C. Genk.

Paintsil’s deal with his new club has attracted interest from fans and his followers, who are keen on what he will be delivering in the MLS.

The 26-year-old will be fully listed on the club’s 2024 season roster when his international transfer certificate and P-1 visa are completely sought out.

Paintsil has been very electric in Belgium, with Genk scoring important goals and assists, helping his side qualify for the Champions League every season.

His exploits in Europe saw him score 65 goals and provide 35 assists in over 200 games. A move to North America will even see him add more to his ever-growing tally of goals and assists.

“We are pleased to add a player of Joseph’s quality to the LA Galaxy. 

Joseph is a dynamic winger with and without the ball who possesses the capacity to change games instantly. We look forward to integrating him into our group quickly,” said LA Galaxy Head Coach Greg Vanney.
