The National Service Secretariat (NSS), has announced the release of the first batch of pin codes for 13,353 trained teachers.

The pin codes are to enable the trained teachers enroll and get deployed to serve their mandatory one-year service to the nation for the 2024 service period. The trained teachers are advised to visit the official website of the National Service Secretariat to access their logins and continue the due process.

A statement issued by the NSS said prospective service personnel would have to pay a registration fee of GH¢40 at any branch of the ADB Bank to obtain access to the main enrollment platform to complete the enrollment process.

The statement signed by the acting Director of Corporate Affairs, Ambrose Entsiwa Jnr, on Monday, February 12, 2024, said payment of GH¢41 could be made via MTN Mobile Money for the same purpose.

It further said enrollment would start on Wednesday, February 14 and end on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

“All eligible, trained teachers are to ensure that they complete their online enrollment process themselves within the stipulated period.”

Meanwhile, the current batch of National Service Personnel who began their service period in November 2023 are yet to receive notification of their evaluation and, eventually, payment of their service allowance for the months they have served at their various posts.
