PLAN A
When voter registration is done on a polling station basis, branch executives can monitor and identify any anomalies quickly, as well as all persons being registered.
To kick start the rigging machinery, step one is to cancel polling station registration and create District-based registration.
That way, all manner of persons can be registered and later distributed (bused) to various polling stations.
On the day of the election, all manner of persons whose names are on the register turn up to vote, even when they do not come from those areas. There is nothing any party agent can do to stop them.
PLAN B
Following the successful execution of plan A, plan B will come into play.
Previously, with indelible ink, it is easy to identify persons who have voted already in order to check multiple voting. Now that the Electoral Commission is pushing for the indelible ink not to be used, NPP party faithful can be bused from place to place (across constituencies) to have multiple votes.
This will to top-up NPP votes to reach 95% or even 100% in NDC strongholds.
Remember, because of plan A, our agents may not know all the persons on the voter register in a particular polling station.
So Parliamentary candidates in the various constituencies will just mobilise a number of party faithfuls from another constituency after they have finished casting their ballot in their mother constituency to come over to vote again.
PLAN
Not many people turn up for voter register exhibitions. Sometimes, less than 40% voters go back to check their names at some centers.
Imagine the chaos that will occur when a person goes to cast his/her ballot and can not be found on the register. How many voters will have the willpower and the means to go around the electoral area or constituency to find where his/her name has been sent to? Frustrate the voter and he/she may not go to vote.
PLAN D
Artificially create insecurity in NDC strongholds. Then, send heavy military personnel there to cause fear and panic in order to suppress voter turnout. No wonder Western Togoland issues have resurfaced this year.

Meanwhile, a Former National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku, has expressed confidence that they will emerge victorious in the 2024 election.
According to him, the NPP will break the eight with a superior strategy the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not understand. Mr Awuku was speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen.
“The NDC will not understand how there was so much noise and complaints, yet the NPP won,” he said.
These strategies, he noted, will include the NPP’s message and a number of assessments they have put in place without leaving out the economic recovery.
