Mr. Michal Nii Yarboi Annan has called on members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as well as Ghanaians in general to focus their energies in 2024 to promote the NDC and its achievements over the years as well as the message of John Mahama.
In a new year message, he called on Ghanaians to avoid politics of insults, defamation and rather focus on positive issues that contribute to finding solutions to the challenges facing the nation.

“Let us all Ring out 2023, thanking God for all the negatives and Ring in 2024 with pleadings of love, peace, joy and prosperity from God Almighty
Let us use the New Year to promote the best, our NDC and its achievements. We should become solutions of the challenges of this Nation by contributing positively to discussions that bring development and growth.
Let us cut insults, defaming and the negatives that brings no progress but retrogression.
In 2024, let’s remember when we are together with negative attitudes we shall cause destruction, but when we do come together with a positive attitude, we will change a lot with progress, growth and development
May 2024 bring us good tidings and prosperity whiles we stay healthy and alive for God and Ghana

Mr. Michael Nii Yarboi Annan, the Parlamentary Candidate Hopepeful in the Odododiodio Constituency on the ticked of the NDC has appealed against a decision by the National Executives of the party to disqualify him from contesting and is awaiting the outcome of his appeal.
