Torgbi Xenodzi Dogbey II, King of Wogbato Kingdom says he suspects two groups of people, one of which may be behind the recent attacks on his life and property.
In a chat with Sellassie K.A. Sokpe of betterghanadigest.com, the revered King of Worgbato, Torgbi Xenodzi II said the first group that comes into his mind is those he is engaged in a chieftaincy dispute in his kingdom, According to him, he secured a court injunction in 2022 against Torgbe Adama III, Paramount Chief of Some Traditional Area, when they had tried to illegally install Detective Chief Inspector Philip Dzade as the Chief of Amukoe- Kpota and Adawukope and Worgbato
After the court injunction, Chief Inspector Dzade Philip was installed as Divisional Chief of Amukoe- Kpota and Adawukope only as Torgbi Axorlu II excluding Worgbato.
“Around April 2023, some strangers who occupied my kingdom tried to remove my signpost in my Kingdom. They also beat up and wounded Jefferson Xenodzi who caught them in the act and decided to film them.”
Even though he managed to get the Police to arrest and process them to court, they were found guilty and fined 450ghc each by the Agbozume District Court four, their sponsors or paymasters might not have given up yet.
In his reaction, Mr. Kwesi Bokor Shine who was contacted by Sellassie K.A. Sokpe concerning the allegation, said he was not ready to talk since it was a criminal matter. “Please go to the police station.” He stated.
Again, Torgbi Xenodzi said he had also received death threats from one Maud Efia Fremah and his fiancée Eric Kwame, a case which is still pending before the Ashaiman Circuit court.
“So this means there are two suspects for last Monday’s Assassination attempt and Robbery.”
“First suspect is Maud Efia Fremah of Ashaiman and the second suspects are the strangers who occupy Torgbi Xenodzi’s Kingdom at Worgbato in the Volta Region. The strangers who tried the failed illegal installation and those who removed his signpost.” He added.
The Worgbato King says he has over the years destroyed various charms that people made against him to destroy him spiritually.
In his opinion, considering the issues in the past coupled with the fact that all these attempts on his life failed spiritually, it is obvious his enemies would want to adopt other strategies to get rid of him.
Hence the latest assassination and armed robbery attack which led to the loss of a substantial amount of cash last Monday and the subsequent damage to his car when some unidentified people tried breaking into his home a few days after.
Torgbi Xenodzi II believes his enemies never succeeded in using any of those charms against him because he has been faithful to GOD and has the power of God in him.
