John Mahama does not have regular conversations with IGP Dampare -Kwakye Ofosu

On the ongoing investigation into the leaked tape saga involving some Senior Police Officers, Aide to former President John Mahama, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu, has denied allegations that the current IGP, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has been having regular telephone conversations with former President Mahama.

COP George Alex Mensah, who is the main culprit on the tape, made the allegation when he appeared before the Parliamentary Committee as one of his reasons to want the IGP changed.

Mr. Mahama’s aide refuted such allegations, saying, ”there is no where that the IGP has been having regular talks with Mr. Mahama”.
