
Steve Williams, the CEO of the International Pillow Fight Championship has tipped one of the winners of the just-ended Pillow Fight Championship held at the University of Education, Wineba, Sarah Mishiwo to become the next Female Pillow Champion.
The Pillow-Fight Championship organized by the Pillow Fight Ghana in collaboration with HPERSSA-UEW took place on Wednesday 2nd August 2023 from 9am till 5pm.
Watching videos of the games a few days after the championship, Mr. Steve Williams said in a WhatsApp chat with Mr. Ola Williams, founder and CEO of Pillow Fight Ghana that Sarah was capable of becoming the next female Pillow Fight Champion.
“That’s incredible! What a great fighter. She looks like the next female champion“.

At the end of the event, which took place on Wednesday 2nd August, 2023, the President and Founder of Pillow Fight Ghana, Emmanuel Ola Williams a.k.a GAS MAN presented Medals donated by the LOC chairman, Mr Frank Mintah Mensah purposely for the HPERSSA week celebration, as well as certificates and products to the winners.
The women’s category saw Sarah Mishiwo of level 300 emerging as the winner followed by Sophia A. Atinsiak of level 400 and then Kluu Miriam Genevieve, a level 200 student.
The Men category also had Elvis A. Botchway of level 100 emerging as the winner, followed by Hamidu Mumuni at level 200, Sampson Bonney of level 300, as well as Mustapha Ibrahim at level 400

Born about 26 years ago, Mishiwo Sarah Akos is a proud native of Hatorgodo in the Volta Region.
Currently, she is in level 300 studying Health Physical Education Recreation and Sports (Physical Education) at the University of Education Winneba.
Sarah, a product of Zion College (Zico) in Anloga, says it was her first time taking part in a Pillow Fight and she is also looking forward to seeing herself on bigger platforms.
