
Tuesday 25th July witnessed Heritage Day with the Royals from Ahantaman Girls Senior High School (AHGISS) as part of their 75th Speech and Prize-Giving Day celebrations.

The students, old students, and teachers who dressed in traditional attire, representing the various ethnic groups across Ghana, took part in various traditional and cultural activities to mark the day.

Activities included Cultural Drumming and Dance Performances, Cooking, and various indigenous traditional games such as ampe, kremezine etc. to depict the diversity in the rich culture and traditions of the people of Ghana.

The event which is powered by ONE ON ONE FOUNDATION lasted from 10am to 5pm was preceded with an aerobics session from 6am to 7am.

The week-long program which began on Saturday, 22nd July 2023 with a roadshow is expected to be climaxed with the durbar on Saturday 29th July, and then finally with a thanks-giving church service on Sunday 30th July to show gratitude to God for a successful celebration.
