Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, a member of parliament for North Tongu, will not face any opposition in the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress.
This became clear after the NDC legislator became the sole individual to select nomination forms for the constituency’s parliamentary primaries.
Mr. Ablakwa expressed his delight at the development by stating that he will continue to advocate for the interests of his constituents despite the absence of a rival.
The MP wrote, “We are running unopposed in the North Tongu NDC Parliamentary Primaries” in a tweet on Sunday. Another reason to serve my beloved constituents better, more forcefully, innovatively, and with greater resolve.
He went on to say, “As you are well aware, I do not and will never take your support for granted.” God be praised.
