A former director of the Nation Builders Corps (NaBCO) in Kwabre East in the Ashanti Region has hinted that he needs an employment opportunity as he is now unemployed as his contract with the agency has expired.
He is therefore appealing to the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, of which he is a member, to find him a job as his abilities are waning.
Mr. Jones Sarfo Anyamesem who is acting secretary of Kwabre East Constituency of the NPP told the Ultimate FM morning show host that since he left his teaching job to become the director of NaBCO, things were going well until the agency shut down.
He believes that the time has come for the government to push him into another field of work.
“I am now an unemployed Caesar, as my contract with NaBCO expired last year in December, we are yet to be told what to expect next. I am waiting to be fixed somewhere so that I can serve this country again”
“You know I was a teacher, that was my job then, but after NaBCO I am unemployed now. You know it’s not easy all over the world right now for everyone, so I hope I get a chance somewhere. I am now serving as the former director of NaBCO in Kwabre East,” he lamented on live radio
The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) program is a government initiative to combat graduate unemployment to address social issues. The focus of the initiative was to address issues of public service delivery in the areas of health, education, agriculture, technology, and governance, as well as revenue mobilization and collection.
