The management of MTN, one of the most well-known telecommunications networks in Ghana, has apologized to the people of Bogoso and the surrounding area who have been experiencing severe service disruptions since October 2022.

On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, Wassaman Insider published an article in which MTN admitted responsibility and apologized to subscribers.

“MTN wishes to apologize to its subscribers in Bogoso and its environs for the disruptions to its services,” reads a statement released by the Corporate Communications Department of Scancom PLC on January 18, 2023.

Multiple fiber cuts and other technical issues are to blame for this.

The problem is currently being worked on by our technical team to find a permanent solution. We sincerely regret the inconvenience. When the problem is fully resolved, we will keep you informed. Many thanks.”
