H.E. John Dramani Mahama has reassured the people of Aflao that the NDC will not leave them out of the infrastructural development program in the Volta Region if it wins the 2024 elections.
“Aflao, as the most vibrant border town in Ghana, deserves more than it currently has, and in line with our promises in the 2020 People’s Manifesto, the next NDC administration will provide the municipality with a modern international standard market, a new hospital, in addition to other socio-economic infrastructure.”
He gave the reassurance when he was in Aflao earlier on Saturday to convey his felicitations to Togbui Amenya Fiti V, Paramount Chief of Aflao, on the occasion of his 25th anniversary.
The celebration coincided with the Godigbe Festival of the chiefs and people.
He expressed his joy and gratitude to Togbui Amenya Fiti V in particular adding that Torgbui visited and personally invited him to grace the occasion.
H.E. John Mahama thanked the people of Aflao and its environs, our brothers and sisters from Togo and Benin and others who thronged the durbar ground for their warm welcome and with lots of excitement.
