WE DON’T KNOW WHERE OUR CHAIRMAN STAYS- KKC MEMBERS LAMENT

Members and Delegates of the National Democratic Congress in Kpone Katamanso Constituency have lamented about their inability to gain access to their Chairman whenever there is a pressing issue.

According to them, prior to the 2020 elections, Nicholas Ofei and his team claimed he owned 3 houses- one in Afariwa, Bethlehem and comm 25 and was therefore accessible. but all turned out to be palpable lies meant to deceive well meaning delegates and members of the party.
In the words of a delegate Naa Dede, “95% of constituents don’t know the permanent residence of Nickus. Infact he stays outside the constituency. So if you are a constituent and need audience with Chairman, its either you meet him by the road side in his car or a pub. Is this what we want as a Party?” she retorted.
Investigations by betterghanadigest.com revealed that the Chairman has since been booted out of his Bethlehem rented house by his landlord.
Other delegates also spoke about the arrogant and disrespectful nature of the book long Chairman who came to power claiming to be a lecturer and promisng roses but ended up delivering thorns.

The constituency elections of the National Dedmocratic Congress comes on Saturday 22nd October 2022.
Haruna Mahama is tipped to defeat the incumbent chairman whose tenure has been described as underwhelming.

The Chairmanship position is a straight contest between the incumbent Nicholas Ofei and Organizer Haruna Mahama. Our Elders say ‘’he who refuses to obey cannot rule’’.

Most delegates say they will boot out the incumbent for incompetence, lack of accountability and disrespect towards party elders and members.

They contend that they need someone honest who will listen and solve problems from the grassroots not elitism as being practiced by the current chairman.

Several on ground and online polls indicate Haruna Mahama will emerge victorious in this polarized contest.
