BET Hip Hop Awards 2022: Black Sherif grabs ‘Best International Flow’ nomination

Ghanaian Hiplife/Hip Hop musician Mohammed Ismail Sherif popularly known as Black Sherif has been nominated for the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards.

The 17th annual Bet Hip Hop Awards 2022 nominees list was released today, September 12, 2022. With ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ hitmaker grabbing his first BET nomination in the Best International Flow Category.

Black Sherif was among seven other musicians who made it to this category; Benjamin Epps (France), Blaxckie (South Africa), Central Cee (UK), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).

Black Sherif becomes the second Ghanaian to be nominated for the BET ‘Best International Flow’ category, following Sarkodie’s win in 2019.

The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards is scheduled to take place on September 30, 2022, at Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta. And it will be hosted by Grammy-nominated recording artist, actor, entrepreneur, and media personality Fat Joe.
