Ghana’s 100m sprinter, Benjamin Azamati finished first in the Paris Diamond League meeting on Saturday.

The Ghanaian who earlier sealed a lucrative deal with multinational sportswear corporation, ASICS Global came first in his second Diamond League meeting.

Azami achieved the feat with a time of 10.25s despite tough weather conditions with a -1.5 headwind.

This should come as a huge boost to the 22-year-old who is preparing earnestly for the World Athletes Championship and Commonwealth Games.

Meanwhile, fellow Ghanaian compatriot and former Ghana 100m champion, Safo-Antwi Sean came sixth with a time of 10.45s in Paris.
