Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has said that the leaders of the June 4 demonstration must be condemned for contemplating the idea

According to him, other countries are now campaigning for gun control after suffering the consequences of similar actions.

“Indeed, only this week, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau introduced the most comprehensive gun-control legislation in that country’s history.”

The lawmaker said we cannot allow a few reckless elements to arm untrained demonstrators no matter which ruling party they are demonstrating against.

He admitted that many Ghanaians are appalled and outraged by police brutalities but insisted that the solution cannot be further aggravation by creating explosive conditions for all-out war.
