Dampare is a footsoldier; he was only asked to sign the letter – Barker-Vormawor

The man at the center of the seeming fracas between the IGP and the British High Commission, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, has called for the former’s resignation.

According to him, he once worked as a Diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and that there is nowhere in the world, any public agency much less the Inspector General of Police would have the temerity to write such a letter to a Diplomatic Mission, and the ministry of foreign affairs would look on unconcerned.

“If we had a proper Minister for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet will ask for Dampare’s resignation immediately! But they probably wrote it for Dampare to sign,” he wrote on Facebook.
