Former President John Dramani Mahama has stated that his daughter, Farida Mahama, does not have a Twitter account.
In a tweet on his official Twitter page, H.E. Former President Mahama called on the public to ignore and stop following the account.
According to H.E. John Mahama, the fake account was set up by some unscrupulous person who is using it to send out tweets in her (Farida Mahama) name.
He attached a screenshot of a tweet from the account in his tweet.
In recent times, there have been various complaints of fraudsters operating under the guise of prominent people in society with fake accounts across all social media platforms.
