Stonebwoy pays for the release of Tinny’s confiscated car

Reggae dancehall artist, Stonebwoy today on Hit 103.9 FM paid for the release of rapper Tinny’s car that has been confiscated and is at the Taifa police station.

The ‘Everlasting’ hitmaker Stonebwoy was in the studios of Hitz 103.9 FM on ‘You Say Wetin’ a segment on the Cruise Control hosted by Prince Da Don Tsegah and Merqurey Quaye.

Rapper, Tinny’s car was seized by the police after he failed to turn up for a performance after taking payment.

The event planner, Yaw Menkasa said he paid the rapper ¢2000 for a performance in his hometown in the Oti Region.

He subsequently lodged a complaint at the Taifa Police Station.

On the back of this report, Tinny presented himself at the station on Wednesday, May 4, where his car was confiscated.

The police ordered the Rapper to refund the money by Monday, May 9, or risk being arrested.

Upon hearing the story, Stonebwoy pledged to refund the owed on behalf of Tinny.

The Reggae Dancehall artist honoured his word and gave the money to Prince Tsegah to be given to Yaw Menkasa.

Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, is the CEO of Burniton Music Group.

He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards.
