Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Bashir Annan fondly called Gambo wins the songwriter of the year at the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Awards.
The 23rd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Awards is currently taking place at the Grande Arena of the Conference Center, Accra.
The first set of awards tagged under the Industry Awards night takes centre stage on Friday, May 6, 2022 as part of what is expected to be the biggest music weekend in Ghana.
The VGMA’s is targetted at appreciating and celebrating the hard work of artists, songwriters, beat-makers, music producers, instrumentalists and other stakeholders in the Ghanaian music industry.
The ‘No Stress’ crooner emerged as the winner of the unsung act of the year at the 2023 VGMA awards.
