Award-winning rapper Guru has taken a swipe at the Ministry of Creative Arts and Tourism following the successful program in Paris dubbed #AccraInParis spearheaded by the France Ambassador to Ghana H.E Ann Sophie Avè.
The show which came off last weekend was rated as successful by the patrons who attended the event.
Following this, Guru a.k.a Maradona Yeboah Adjei has disclosed that the France Ambassador with all due respect works harder for Ghanaian acts than the ministry.
In a tweet on social media, he stated that he really appreciate the energy from the Ambassador.
He posted: “Our France Ambassador is working harder than our Creative and tourism ministry . ?? really appreciate her energy ??”
The #AccraInParis concert saw the likes of Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Fameye, and Kwabena Kwabena serving the crowd with their songs.

The first leg of the initiative dubbed ‘ParisInAccra”, which was held at Alliance Francaise in Accra in November last year saw a mammoth crowd of music lovers present including dignitaries such as EIB Network’s CEO Bola Ray and French Ambassador to Ghana HE Anne Sophie Ave, throng the venue, and it was like a movie.
Also, there were stands and sheds where ‘Made in Ghana’ goods will be showcased at the Accra in Paris concert.
The event was put together by the Ambassador of France to Ghana, Empire Protocol, and SPYCE publishing.
One would have expected the Creative Arts Ministry and the Tourism Ministry to get involved in such a very important project since it offered a golden opportunity to market Ghana on the international platform, particularly in France.
However, it is not clear whether the organizers contacted any of the above ministries.
