His Excellency the Former President, John Dramani Mahama on Friday joined well-wishers, family, and mourners at a one-week commemorative service for the late former first lady Mrs. Emily Akuffo.
The deceased was the wife of a former Head of State, Lt. General Fred Akuffo (also deceased) who led the Supreme Military Council between 1978 and 1979.
The one-week service which took place at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (Christ Church) at Akropong in the Eastern Region.
Also present at the ceremony was His Excellency the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his entourage.
Among the dignitaries who accompanied the former President was former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, National Youth Organiser George Opare Addo, and a former High Commissioner Victor Smith.
