The organizers of Miss Agriculture Ghana, Media Billo have formally unveiled the contestants participating in this year’s edition of the project pageant.
In a ceremony organized at the Resource Centre of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the various contestants took turns to make presentations on their projects in Agri-Business such as Cowpea processing, Tiger Nut Processing, Mushroom production, etc.
Mr. Alistair Djimatey advised the contestants to be very practical with the projects they intend to embark on, adding that even if the project can employ only two or three people, it will positively impact the economy.
In all, eleven contestants are to battle for the next level of the contest. They include Afriyie, Bridget, Rendy, Emmanuella, Jessica, Hannah, Janet, Rhoda, Stephanie, Charity, and Eunice.
Apart from the cash, the winner is expected to represent Ghana at the World Expo which is expected to come off in Dubai as well as this year’s edition of National Farmers’ Day in Ghana.
Oheneba Akosua Kyerewaa, the Project Coordinator called on relatives and friends as well as the general public of the various contestants to vote for them in order that they can win the ultimate crown.
She also took the opportunity to express the organizers’ gratitude to the sponsors and the media for supporting the project.
Miss Agriculture Ghana 2021 which is under the auspices of the Chamber of Women in Agriculture of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture is proudly sponsored by Casa de Ropa, Blue Skies, GTP, Carefront Travel and Tours.
