
Erica Fiadzigbe, a student of Central University has been crowned the winner of Miss UNi International 2021 last Friday night.

Erica’s prize package as the winner, an all-expenses-paid trip to Dubai, an amount of GH2,000.00 plus an official car.


Other winners were Catherine Hetcheli-Lawson (a.k.a Cathylaw), a 22-year-old student from Government Secretarial College, who emerged as the 1st runner-up, Forgive Adzakpa, from the University of Ghana took the 2nd runner-up position, with Vida taking the 3rd runner-up position.



Others included The Most Disciplined Contestant which went to Tina, The Most Eloquent Contestant going to Forgive, Most Influential going to Jay whilst Cathylaw took the Best Talent of the night.




It was a night of spectacular display of culture and knowledge as the contestants took turns to showcase their talents in diverse fields including painting, singing, dancing, acting, etc., putting up amazing performances that got the audience clapping and sometimes even on their feet just to express their satisfaction for the stunning performance.
The event which was hosted by Dennis Baffuour Awuah and Ama Amponsah took place at the Ghana National Teachers Hall in Accra.
The C.E.O of Media Billo, Mr. Christopher Vuyani after welcoming the audience and thanked them for their presence.
He also took the opportunity to congratulate all the contestants for getting this far and also encouraged them that the grand finale should not be the end of their journey.
” You are all winners and ambassadors to the brand”. He added.

Mr. Christopher Vuyani also acknowledged the support of the national commission on culture for their tremendous support, advice, and guidance. Other sponsors include Ann Rich Cakes, Casa de Rpoa, Care Front Travel & Tours.

At the end of the show, the judges for the night Mr. Richardson Fio, Madam Ama Bonsu, and Winston Kekeli said the artistic performances of all the contestants were generally top-notch and that if not for the voting aspect, it would have been very difficult to come up with a winner.

Speaking to betterghanadigest.com, Akosua Oheneba Kyerewah, the Project Manager of Miss UNi International 2021, thanked the almighty lord for having yet another successful event. She also urged all the contestants to see themselves as winners, focussing on the various projects they brought into the competition because they were all useful and will help contribute to the development and promotion of tourism in Ghana.
