
The 2nd edition of the Chick4Chicks programme has ended successfully with a graduation ceremony.
The event which took place at Capitol Restaurant, Cantonments in Accra saw the ladies giving an account of the knowledge and experiences they have acquired over the six-week-long incubation and training program at Delawin Farms Ltd.
The participants were provided with start-up capital to establish their own businesses within the poultry industry.
The ladies who participated in the 2021 edition are namely, Paulina Asabesa, Gertrude Owuoni, Esther Ehi, Mabel Yayra, Eva Nuworkpor, Vida Dzimaso, Agness Hevi, and Rebecca K. Bonye.
The participants were awarded certificates of participation with others who had excelled in various categories including the Most Eloquent Participant, Most Innovative Participant, Most Influential Participant, and the Most Promising Participant.
Madam Anna Bonsu advised the participants to take rides in the fields they have chosen to pursue, adding that they can still live the elegant lifestyle they revere as ladies after a hard day’s work on the farm.
At the end of the program, the participants expressed their gratitude to C.E.O of Media Billow, organizers of the event for initiating such a project.
