The Pentecost International Worship Center (A Ministry Of The Church Of Pentecost- Bompata Area) In Collaboration with the National Sports Authority has involved in the nationwide tree-planting initiative “Green Ghana Project” by planting 16,000 trees today at Baba Yara Sports Stadium to enable the government to achieve it greening agenda.
The Bompata Area Pastor for The Church Of Pentecost, Pastor Joshua Kwabena Donkor, said, it’s the responsibility of the church to assist the government in championing such project since it will be beneficial to the life of mankind.
They managed to plant four species of plants today at the stadium to provide shade for football lovers and to beautify the place.
According to Pastor Joshua Kwabena Donkor, the church will provide sprinklers to the members to regularly water the plants for them to be sustainable.
