The Bongo District Football Association has made preparations for the commencement of the District Division Three League which is set to take place on the 12th and 13th of June 2021.

The Chairman for Bongo District Football Association Hon. George Afari made this known to Godfred Awindenaba on Monday, 31st May, 2021.

The Chairman who doubles as the CEO for Zorkor United FC urged all Clubs to as a matter of necessity make payments for their Player Licence (Cards) and apply for the licence as soon as possible to avoid last minute rush.

The Bongo District has nine (9) Division Three Clubs that have been grouped into Two Zones.

Zone One has five (5) Clubs while Zone Two has four (4) Clubs.

Zone One

1. Zorkor United Sporting Club

2. Namoo United Football Club

3. Saabo Football Club

4. Maestro’s Football Club

5. Soe Millennium Stars

Zone Two

1. Samba Stars Football Club

2. Dua Still Hope

3. Awubgo United

4. Hassan Stars

The Chairman further encouraged club officials to advise their supporters against Hooliganism, and also assured the clubs of his preparedness to work with the media to sell the District to the world as far as football is concerned.

All the clubs are tasked to declare their stripes and venue for inspections latest by 6th June 2021. It is the responsibility of the home teams to provide security for the matches; he also wished the best of luck to all participating clubs.

“It is my hope that we have a peaceful and incident free 2020/2021 League and at the end, Bongo becomes the eventual winner with great prospects for growth” he concluded.
