The Executive Director of Miss Agriculture Ghana Foundation, Madam Ohebeba Akosua Kyerewaa says all is set for a successful program on Friday with regards to the official launching of the second edition of the Chick4Chicks program.

Chick4Chicks is an initiative under the Miss Agriculture Ghana Foundation in collaboration with the Ghana Poultry Project under the Women in Agriculture Directorate of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

Under the 16week incubation program, selected participants are attached to Delawin Farms where the undergo practical training in poultry farming after which they are supported to set up and manage their own poultry business.

According to Madam Ohebeba Akosua Kyerewaa who is the Executive Director of Miss Agriculture Ghana Foundation, because the training is purely practical and also done on field, all participants automatically becomes a full-time poultry farmer after graduating from the program.

She said at the end of this year’s edition, an amount of GHC 7,500.00 will be given to three participants as a start up capital to set up their poultry farms.
