A group of NPP youth purported to be supporters of the District Chief Executive Hon. Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga gathered at the party’s district office to confront another group of the party’s youth during a supposedly peaceful demonstration against the DCE.
The demonstrators who described themselves as concerned NPP party faithfuls, organized the demonstration against the DCE with an earlier plan of addressing the press at the party’s constituency office but upon getting closer to the office, they sighted another group gathered at the office with weapons such as pieces of wood, stones, canes and etc.
This angered the demonstrators who also picked up stones on the ground moving fiercely to confront them and to sack them from the office in order to carry out the press conference, but after series of advice, they were able to calm down and changed a place to do the address and depart in peace.
In an attempt to know the reason for the gathering at the office and why they gathered with weapons, one of them who refused to identify himself said they have no answer to any of the questions, but in an exclusive interview, one of the demonstrators revealed that those boys gathered at the office were incited by the DCE to fight them.
