Reports reaching betterghanadigest.com indicate that the Deputy Regional Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Savannah Region Mahama Asumah has died.
According to reports, he is said to have died on the dawn of February 4, 2021.
Mahama Asumah died at the Holistic Medical Center at Buipe in the Central Gonja District, after battling a short illness.
He is known to have been influential in party activities in the Yapei Kusawgu Constituency, where he served as Constituency Youth Organiser for eight years.
The late Asumah Mahama has been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic practices.
