The Makola Special Branch has donated some food items and an undisclosed amount of cash to the Odododiodio constituency in support of the on-going voters registration exercise.
According to Mrs Salomay Martei who is the chairlady of the Branch, after observing the exercise and realizing the challenges related to the management of party agents at the various registration centres, they thought it wise to lend a helping hand to the constituency in terms of feeding the party agents.
Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuye who is the current member of Parliament, on behalf of the constituency expressed his gratitude for the gesture and assured the people of Makola of his full support when the NDC wins the December polls.
He said the NDC was aware about the various challenges the traders face on daily basis as far as their business is concerned and therefore have developed a number policy initiatives that are going to deal with the challenges and ultimately promote trade facilitation especially within the West African sub region.
He therefore charged the members and supporters of the NDC to work very hard in order to bring the NDC back into Government to enable such policies to be implemented for the betterment of traders and the entire business community as a whole.
