Shaikh Ibrahim Tahir who also took the opportunity to thank the Constituency Honourable Nii Lantey Vanderpuye for all that he has being doing to support the people of Odododiodio since the outbreak of the pandemic in Ghana. He observed that even though the food distribution exercise which is being undertaken by the Government was done on partisan basis, the Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuye’s interventions had targeted the general population within the constituency and for that matter had being very helpful for most people who are not political activists, particularly floating voters and children within the constituency.
Honourable Carlos Mankattah, the Assembly Member for Kinka Electoral Area took his turn to remind the people of the need to adhere to the preventive measures that have been prescribed by Health Authorities in oreder to avoid being infected by the CORONA Virus.
Mr. Emmanuel Blankson Mubarak who is the Coordinator for the NDC Youth Wing in Odododiodio, congratulated the Youth Organizer, Shaikh Ibrahim Tahir and his deputy Alhassan Ibn Abdellah for taking the initiative and also called upon the leadership of other political parties as well as religious bodies to come up with similar initiatives in order to support what the Government is doing since it is obvious that it is virtually inadequate; considering the number of people who need help within the constituency.
Ibrahim Tahir expressed his gratitude to all those who supported him in one way or the other especially the distribution team for their sacrifice without which the exercise would not have been successful.
Other members of the distribution team included Alhaji Ahmed who is the Constituency Treasurer, Michael Botcway, Daniel Gyan, Dorothy Hammond and Gifty Lartey who are all Youth Organizers in the respective branches within the constituency.
