Aspiring Member of Parliament for the Krowor Constituency, Hon. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey extends her gratitude to members of the National Democratic Congress and the general public for a successful Health Walk on Independence Day, 6th March,2020.

The walk which garnered a mammoth crowd saw the aged, youth and kids joining from all communities of the Constituency.

The walk which was led by Hon Naa Momo witnessed people walking through the principal street of Krowor clad in Party colours .

In her speech, Hon Nana Momo thanked the good people of Krowor for exhibiting a high of participation and comradeship considering how they thronged the walk in their numbers.

She bemoaned the water crisis which has hit many parts of Accra including Nungua. She was surprised why a Desalination Plant which served Nungua and other part of Accra has been shut down causing acute water shortage. According to the Aspiring Member of Parliament, water is a basic necessity and must be prioritized by any well meaning government and it is for that reason the NDC government put up such ultramodern Desalination Plant to serve Krowor and its environs.

She also touched on the high level of unemployment in Krowor and was worried that this could escalate if it’s not treated as a matter of urgency.

She lashed the government for the erratic power supply we are facing in the constituency and wondered what government is doing with the excess power His Excellency President John Mahama bequeathed to them.

She Charged the NDC to be vigilant and unite for the general elections ahead since victory is not far from sight.
