Upon the successfully creation of the Makola Special Branch which has a membership base of over 200 registered members, an inauguration ceremony has been organized over the weekend to officially hand over the branch to the party and also to swear in the leadership.
The National Coordinator of BringBackJM2020 Network, Mr. Sellassie K.A. Sokpe said BringBackJM2020 is a group of volunteers nationwide, who are committed to mobilizing resources with the main objective of complementing the efforts of the NDC at all levels in executing various strategies and activities aimed at securing over 6million votes for the NDC in the upcoming 2020 elections.
He said the creation of the Makola Special Branch is therefore part of the grass-root mobilization and reorganization component of the BringBackJM2020 Project. An idea aimed at increasing the membership and support base of the party.
Speaking at the program, Hon. Alhaji Abass who is the National Chairman of the BringBackJM2020 Network called on all Ghanaians to rally their support behind the NDC in order to rescue the nation form the current hardship that has engulfed us in all aspects of our daily lives.
The program which took place at the Tudu (Aflao) Station, Accra Central on Sunday 26th January 2020 from 2pm to 6pm was under the auspices of the Greater Accra Regional Executives as well as the Odododiodio Constituency Executives led by Honourable Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye.
