Comedian and satirist, Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) says he agrees with the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia when he says ‘weak fundamentals exposes bad governments’.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia while in opposition during one of his public Lectures said “When the fundamentals are weak, the exchange rate will expose you”.
This comment by the current Vice President was used against the Mahama led administration and helped the NPP justify why John Dramni Mahama was incompetent and gave Ghanaians a reason to give Akufo-Addo and Bawumia an opportunity to make things better.
However, the cedi keeps depreciating under their watch and Ghanaians are upset and think they were tricked by Bawumia.
Reacting to the comment by Bawumia and his inability to stabilize the cedi under his watch, KSM said When the fundamentals are weak, the exchange rate will expose you. “ I agree 100% with Bawumiah. His mistake was to treat this as an NDC problem instead of a NATIONAL crisis. As a nation we have WEAK economic fundamentals and the Cedi free fall will not stop now”.
